So I'm on Roche's path in Act 2, trying to get into Vergen. I've gone past the 2 trolls and some soldiers into this massive valley, where my medallion keeps vibrating and there is a locked chest and a locked door. I'm assuming this is the way to go but I can't find the keys anywhere? What do I do to progress and get into the town?

Basically, you return to the tunnels where you met Zoltan and someone else to obtain one of the symbols.

Sounds like you're in the quarry, which has no meaning for Roche's path, so the tunnel's entrance is right above.

You are in the quarry. Go back up, and back to a four-way intersection. There is a little altar/monument there. Face back the way to the quarry and turn left. This should lead you to two doors. Use the right one to enter the tunnels to Vergen.
