Hello. I've the Steam version of TW2 too. I played TW2 several months ago but now I want to play it again. The Steam installer doesn't not have Italian language and the Steam page of TW indicates that the Italian language is not supported. The GoG version it have the Italian language.

Can someone explain me why the Italian support is ripped off on Steam?

You should better ask this in the official Witcher 2 forum or send a ticket to Steam's support. As far as I can see, everything is fine with GOG's version. If anybody here knows about this issue on Steam, it's only by coincidence.
