*** SLIGHT SPOILERS ***
Sometimes quests advance in my journal telling me about things that haven't happened yet, or even never will.
In the Prologue My journal I also claimed I had "angry words" with the commander whose men were preparing to burn a house, before I had even met him, or spoken to his men terrorising people in the town house.
In Chapter 1, in the Claws of Madness quest some nekker hearts/eyes I was carrying were automatically upgraded into quest items as soon as I spoke to the former wardens about not killing them, so that although I got the piggy equivalent, the ghost still responded angrily to the nekker ones. Since the nekker parts were quest items I couldn't dump them and there was no way of avoiding a fight, although I didn't want to kill the ghost.
Also, several times now I have had entries in my quest journal telling me I have been given information which did not come up in dialogue, although the guide suggests it does, for instance with Sile/Cedric relating to the Kairan antidote and how to get rid of infestations of nekkers etc.
In the latter case, could this be because my imported character already had all the knowledge and the game assumes I have been learning it in stages? But what about the first examples? I keep feeling as if Geralt's amnesia is progressive and affecting me too!
