I was just looking at metacritic and apparently there is a bunch of retards spamming some cool 0/10 for the witcher 2. Comments contain mostly crap like, “this game has no interest, buy dragon age 2 instead” etc…

That you don’t like this game may be true, (I don’t see why honestly, but it may happen), but playing a filthy hater and asking to play DA2 instead… I don’t get it :p

On sites like gamespot where you can’t chain create accounts, the Witcher 2 has a review of 9.6, on metacritic it already sank to 8.9 :p

Does anybody ever take user reviews seriously? For all the criticism that game journalists get, they're nothing compared to the user reviews.

Trolling, there's already a thread about that review somewhere, just use the search function. It started with the review a supposed Bioware employee posted yesterday, the guy who gained notority by giving a 10 toDA2

I think some people have yet to realize that Bioware sold out. Also maybe they are regretting their purchase considering the praise The Witcher 2 has received, and the praise Skyrim will receive.

Mass Effect is ok, but that is because it was something different. But then again when they cannot get the shadows to work on the PC because they ported it... they can go to hell.

Anyone suggesting DA2 is a better game has demonstrated, better than anyone could, how unimportant their opinion is to the Universe.

Bioware is held by the balls by EA Games whose shareholders want each new game to sell more than the previous. That's all. Plain capitalism.

They didn't have to agree to merge or join with EA, unless they were in financial trouble? I am sure Microsoft would have been happy to support them for Mass Effect. And Dragon Age for PC and 360.

It's not just the negative 0/10 reviews. There are far more numerous 10/10 reviews, given to the game within a few hours of it going live/playable. When everyone was ranting about the M_Stannard 0/10 review, no one was saying anything about the other 70 reviews (out of 71) all giving 10/10, and all as equally false as the M_Stannard review. Looking at it just now, there are only a handful of user reviews that give a score other than 0 or 10.

I think it shows one of the problems with MetaCritic... that user reviews like this can be 'played' so easily.

BTW, don't get me wrong, I'm loving this game... it's fantastic so far. And, once I'm done with it I reckon I could quite possibly give it a "10/10", although more likely to be 9/10. Just I think the numerous 10/10 reviews, saying things like "Even The Witcher 1 is better than any Dragon Age ever will be" are just as bad as the 0/10's.

I agree, however a happy medium needs to be found. Especially with corporations like EA paying for reviews.

Seems that these are only simple trolls (I mean, no way fans would tarnish their idols' reputation by using their names after the "review scandal") who only do this because they can.

I long for the days when trolling wasn't considered cool.

I still have high hopes for Mass Effect 3. Bioware may have made mistakes with DA2 (which is still a very good game), but they can recover (I mean, they've been bashed at every game they made because they weren't Baldur's Gate and those were still great).

I have been trying to use MetaCritic to upgrade TW2 rating but if I have cookies set using Firefox 4.01 none of the sites pages will display. If cookies are not set, hey then they are there. Go figure.

sad and pathetic. the state of video gaming today. bioware did it for the profit. now they're trying to downvote the competition. bioware/ea: visionless idiots driven by greed.
