What difficulty are you playing on? Try to avoid his charge attacks, use Quen for protection, Yerden to trap him. Also try to keep your distance and spam bombs and daggers - they are really, really useful.

I'm still having trouble still.

Maintain distance from him, put yarden on ground, wait for him to charge, roll out of the way, when he is trapped hit him from behind.

Pleased that so many have managed this.

I've tried over and over.

Gone back to beginning of Ch 2 to boost my level to 33.

Got the best armour and weapons I can find.

Used traps, bombs, Quen and more rolling that a dog in grass. Potions seem to wear out by the time I get there.

Have to give up for now. Shame really, I hoped to take this character in to Witcher 3.

You can ask from one of us to play that part, with your save file, and give you back the save file after that part, if it is too hard for you to do it...

Why? I'm sure you will manage this bossfight with some hints.

1. Reload the autosave.
2. Geralt should be aggressive, not defensive. As soon as you get control, start the fight with Aard.
3. Roll immediately to one side of the Draug. Cast Yrden. If the Draug doesn't walk right into the trap, then reload.
4. If he does, then 3 or 4 hard strokes. Cast Yrden again, trap him, repeat. The Draug should be dead now. If not: Do it again, Sam.

This was a tough fight, made worse by the fact that potions are completely unusable (because by the time you reach the Draug after going through all the cinematics and mini-fights in the Eternal Battle, their effects have expired). I tried using different signs: first Quen, then Yrden, then Aard. Then rolling and trying to evade all the time (and dying every time). And finally, my brother (who had played the game before me) told me how he had beaten the Draug: ignore signs and as soon as the battle starts, attack it relentlessly. If you start from behind and manage to deal several heavy strikes with a silver sword, the Draug will be finished off almost instantly. I couldn't believe when it worked for me too (on normal difficulty)!

Most boss fights have weird designs in TW2.
