The_Sea_Wolf: ... I have downloaded all the 13 files of the game. the installer ask for the location of part 11 !!!???
as you can see in the attached screen print, all the parts are in the same folder with the installer.
is it normal that the files are exe ??
DeMignon: You mustn't change the filenames when downloading. The sizes look alright, just the filenames seem to be wrong.
Rename your files as follows:
_1.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25.exe
_2.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-1.bin
_3.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-2.bin
_4.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-3.bin
_5.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-4.bin
_6.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-5.bin
_7.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-6.bin
_8.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-7.bin
_9.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-8.bin
_10.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-9.bin
_11.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-10.bin
_12.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25-11.bin
_13.exe => setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25.bin
Start the installation by starting setup_the_witcher2_ee_3.4.0.25.exe
If there's a message, that one of the files is corrupt, redownload this part again and don't change its filename.
And if you keep having trouble with these files, it's worth trying the
GOG downloader. It does all the work automatically.
