I am trying to play Witcher 2 but when I start with the tutorial I can't make work any control on my character.
Thant means :
- I can use my keyboard in the main menu to start a game
- Once I begin the game, I can use my mouse correctly
- Once I begin the game, I can not use my keyboard to move my character
- The tutorial dialogue box doesn't show me the controls but keys. Like this "... come closer with [[GI_AxisLeftY,1]], [[GI_AxisLeftX,1]], [[GI_AxisLeftY.-1]], [[GI_AxisLeftX,-]]."
- Once I begin the game, I still can use the TAB and the ESC.

I am playing in french, I am using a swiss keyboard (QWERTZ).
I already uninstalled the game and re-installed it, without effects.
Windows 10, 64-bit

What can I do to solve that and play ?

What are the specs of your pc?

Is there a gamepad connected? The messege seems to be about gamepad input.
I have not used a gamepad so don't know a lot about that.
Can you check the Input Settings section of the Options menu on the launcher (not in-game).

I had the same problem. The solution for me was to go to Launcher -> Options -> Input Settings..., click on "Restore Defaults" and then OK in the Keyboard tab. It didn't visibly change any of the bindings, but it worked regardless.
