I'm just curious to know... What does TW2 assume Geralt chose to do if you start a fresh game without importing from TW1? Does anyone know? Did he side with the Order? Scio'tael? Or did he remain Neutral throughout? Did he save Adda or Vincent? Court Triss/Shani?

I only started wondering about this after arriving in Chapter 1 and noticing that the quest "A Sword for Monsters" was instantly completed because I had an extra silver sword as a result of importing a TW1 save game. I did think it rather odd at the end of the Prologue how Geralt "lost" his silver sword, but it was mysteriously back in my sheath after the cutscene. (It must have removed the default silver sword, but left Aerondight in my inventory.)

Neutral with Adda dead. Vincent is irrelevant.

Regarding Triss/Shani. The game only has an option for being with Triss at the start of the game, so its irrelevant what you chose.
Adda dead? So glad I kept my saves for 3 years lol. The intention was to re-play the first game but I never found the time, I intend to do it after I finish TW2 though, despite the gorgeousness of TW2 I think I like it more, but it's been so long, I can't really be objective.
Yeah, I also found it odd that the default game starts with Adda dead. That's kind of taking back all they've taught us about being a witcher. Who would always try and remove the curse and only kill the striga if it was not possible at all to cure her. Which it was. So I immedeately turned back on my heel when I noticed that after starting a new game and rather used a neutral save game with Adda alive.

Aside from that, the blank start is neutral and no other questionable states.
