Hi,

Last night I passed Witcher 2 in insane difficulty :) . In chapter 3 I decided to save Triss and I also killed the dragon(breaking the witcher code here), but I just couldn't let the dragon live, because Philippa was still controlling her and afterwards the dragon might come back to finish the job. I know that by doing this I might have damaged the "bond" between Iorweth and Geralt but lets see what happens. :) Of course I forgot that if you save triss you can still get the Philippas dagger from one of the guards guarding Iorweth, but the dragons dead already so that's that.

The last ending line in Witcher 2 got me thinking about how did killing Saskia "The Queen of the rebels" might have influenced the future. I think the ruler is now King Stennis (saved him from lynching). But I wonder did it weaken the overall defense against Nilfgaard or might it actually be better that Saskia isn't the leader. if Saskias secret would get out, then we dont know how many would be willing to follow her. Now, I dont like king Stennis, but I think that he is better candidate for leading Aedirn and has recognition from other northern rulers.

Please share your thoughts and feel free to post your own analyses from your playthroughts.

You'd have better luck with this at the official forums. Discussion like this only really existed here when they were down, but this place has been a graveyard since they went back up in August '11.
