How do I get this game to run in windows 11? I have tried changing to windows 7 mode but that still did not work. I installed the missing .dll. The only thing that did is discontinue that error. Running it in administration mode did not work either. Any other suggestions are greatly welcome.

Greetings, @CathyC1 I'm also having the same issue in the Witcher game launch, i am unable to launch after installation is complete.

Same problem here! I just installed it via Galaxy. If i hit PLAY nothing happens, the play button greys out thats all. Sad that this happen at there owbn game.

Does it run if you just go to where the game is installed ...\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System and run witcher.exe?
If not , does it give an error message?

I cant believe it, it works. I never looked into the system folder. Thanks alot.

Is there a way to tell/force Galaxy to open this file?
