I'm having a few graphical glitches that I'd like to solve and I'm wondering if anyone else is getting them. For your information, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and have a Radeon HD 6990 card (dual GPU, crossfire is always enabled).

1) The most annoying of the glitches I keep encountering: twitching hair. When I enter dialogue with some characters (Abigail, Vivaldi and many others), both Geralt's and the other character's hair twitch like crazy. Not only is it extremely annoying, my computer goes into overdrive everytime it happens.

2) The trees in the trade quarter seem to be twitching as well, until I get closer to them. Then they look like normal trees again.

3) This might not be a glitch, but I'll ask anyway: during some cutscenes, black bars appear beneath and above my screen and everytime this happens my screen gets blurry.

I'm experiencing a somewhat similar oddity--some characters have a 5 foot long thumb that sticks out in front of them, and the Dryad (absurdly) has 5-foot long breasts that stick out in front of her.

I'm not really concerned about it, but i'm guessing that it could be some trivial file corruption. If I wanted to fix it, the first thing I'd try is completely re-downloading and re-installing.

EDIT: gah, I just have to reiterate this. GUYS. I'm experiencing a bug where the DRYAD has FIVE FOOT LONG BREASTS. It's hysterical. She's so serious, too...she's trying to be all mysterious and subtle, and then she's got these enormous, deformed breasts that could take someone's head off.

Your dual-GPU might be causing the problem. Try disabling the crossfire in your graphics card options and see if that fixes the issue.

As for the cutscenes, the black bars are probably there because the cutscenes are widescreen, whereas your main game might not be. What resolution is your monitor? The blurriness is probably due to the Depth of Field option being turned on in your graphics options. You can try disabling it, but for some people (including me) disabling the Depth of Field makes the cutscenes run at a very low FPS, even though the main game runs fine.

Crossfire was indeed the problem. I couldn't turn it of in CCC so I made a custom profile for The Witcher in Radeon Pro with crossfire turned off. This solved the twitching and I'm still getting the same performance as before with only one GPU (in some locations it runs even better, 55 fps average in the Trade Quarter now with everything maxed out).

I should have thought of that faster, as Crossfire seems to cause a lot of problems with older games. Thanks a lot!

im also haveing graphical issues i use a ati radeon HD 5450 so i star the game up for the first time everything works fine i get bored exit the game do some stuff and come back turn the game on and...these weird lines are comeing out of my char and npcs i tried reininstalling several times but to no avail...help would be appreciated
