Hi,
I am experiencing an issue with The Witcher 1.
Game doesn't launch.
When I try to launch it using gog client the launcher appears, then I click Launch and nothing happens - no error, no anything.
The same situation when using witcher.exe - nothing happens.

System reqirements are not a problem.
OS: Windows 10

Looking for any help with this problem

Thans for answering.
It is not a thread about my problem.
I don't have anyy error while launching the game.
But I tried that method witch directx. It didn't solve the problem. Game stiil doesnt launch

Did you try launching the game without GOG Galaxy? You can do so by running the game .exe file located in the folder where you installed the game. Also be sure to try these solutions: https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/witcher-1/pc/sp-technical/issue/1018/the-game-is-not-launching-4. If it doesn't help you should try to contact CDPR support using the form on the website posted above.

Hi Ticzuu,

I'm not sure if this might be helpful, but I had the exact same problem. GOG support told me to try installing the game inside a folder with a shorter path, say C:\GOG or C:\Games (instead of "Programs" or "Programs (x86)").
I installed the June 2010 DirectX Runtime Paket for good measure and that was it, game works perfectly!
