I do not do any file editing whatso ever. I was in chapter 5 of Ties that Bind and found that GOG galaxy needed an update and it paused my game then it crashed my Ties That Bind with a warning sign to contact support. I was unable to play the game and tried to do an update/very/repair in GOG galaxy settings for the game. It seems to have deleted my old file and put a new one where I need to give it Administrator's permission and it says its from an unknown publisher. I have been able to launch the game but I see that I now have to give permission as an administrator every time I open the shortcut; it never asked for this permission before and I am the Administrator and the only account on my pc. Once I do open the game and it launches my mouse pointer is set in the dead center of the screen but I am unable to move it or use my keyboard to make selections in the Main Menu. I have tried starting it up in the Windowed mode and 1 out of literally 40 times trying to play it, the mouse worked but it closed the game right after/crashed. I also have The Suffering and had no issues playing it even after this update. Nothing had changed with The Suffering but Ties That Bind has not worked at all for me. This all happened after a GOG galaxy update. My problem I would like help with is to run this game without asking me for permission every time and to be able to move my mouse and actually play. The game does launch but I cannot move my mouse or use my keyboard in the game.
I am running on Windows 10.
Thank you.
UPDATE: I SAVED MY TTB FILE AFTER INSTALLING AGAIN IN A DIFFERENT FOLDER WHERE (X86) DOES NOT SHOW UP ANYMORE. I PLACED IT WITH MY OLD THE SUFFERING (FIRST GAME) WAS SAVED AND NOW I DO NOT HAVE THE MOUSE OR ADMINISTATOR TROUBLE AFTER LOOKING THROUGH ALOT MORE THREADS THANK YOU NEVER GIVE UP!
