Hello.

Since 20th of July the new version is available on Steam, but not in GoG.
This version comes with big improvments in VR, as new inventory, new movement options...
When will it be available? I've stopped playing waiting for this new features.

Regards,
The Gog staff has to upload the new patch, where as on steam the developers can upload the patch themselves so it takes longer. It is kind of frustrating though when you pay the same amount of money for the game and have to wait longer, however Steam has been around a lot longer and is a lot bigger than gog.
I'm ok if it's only a matter of time. I don't mind (very much) waiting a week after Steam update, just want to be sure that we're going to receive the update sooner than later.

You will, pretty sure, sometimes they're just overly slow for some reason.
No news yet about the patch. C'mon GoG, 9 days from Steam update.
I like GoG policys over Steam ones, but for some things Steam is way ahead.
11 days now and no update.
One of the devs posted this in another post on the gog forums:

"Not sure if 1.02 is up at GOG yet but it should be very soon if not."

He posted that on July 23.
I agree, this it getting suspicious. Updates were very prompt during in-dev - one or two days after steam release. I wonder what's wrong here...
On July 28th on steam they released another patch called 1.021. Man this is frusterating, we are two patches behind now.

I've found that often times when patches are that close together, either there's something major wrong in the last one that they didn't feel pressed to hotfix but will be better if you just wait for the next patch. I feel like often GOG is aware that another one is just around the corner and rather than roll out 2 within a week or 2 of each other, they just wait.

I have no real idea though.
I got this answer from the devs on another forum:

"It is still coming. It is a whole process for GOG. On our side alone already it takes several hours to do due to having to send it over to another PC -> Zip and prepare it there -> Upload the entire game and not just the patch to somewhere -> then mail GOG -> they need to verify. And then if it turns out we need to fix something further this starts over. So for example the 2 quick fixes for 021 took just about 2 hours to do on PC, but the consequent GOG patch would have taken way longer than the time it would take to simply fix it in the first place.
Having automated upload to GOG like we have for Steam would be massively easier..."

I wish gog had this for patch updates. Vote if you agree.

I belive GOG is already working on it. Since last fall or this spring. Can't remember details right now, but I read a post mentioning that they are already testing it for a few selected games (no list provided). Maybe in galaxy thread...

Talk about coincidence... Now we have another fresh confirmation that they are already beta testing the beta feature (on beta client... just kidding, I had no trouble with Galaxy so far, despite it's "beta" label). Solus project just came few months too early to be able to take advantage of it.
