I've played the "Europe" map for a while now and all my enemies are dead, but that does not seem to be enough to actually end the game. Is there a portal of any kind I need to find?

There also seem to be a general lack of information ingame during this campaign, anybody know why?

edit: I notice now that there is a tiny population graph of a fourth competitor, I guess they had a rough start and are living happily under a stone somewhere :)

The World Campaign is very much just a set of maps. It seems like it has been put up very quickly in a haste just to have something to go with the expansion. There isn't really any actual challenge there, just some maps you play that open a few more maps.
Yeah, one does get the feeling that they were planning something more with the World Campaign...

But the story in the main campaign is not exactly oscar material, making the difference between the campaigns not that much of a deal.

The maps in the world campaign are big and a few of the maps are actually very challenging, like the north asian one (to me at least).

Thank you for replying, I didn't notice until now :)

edit: regarding victory conditions: All world campaign maps so far have ended when all enemy headquarters are destroyed.

IMO they just created them because it was fun to copy landmarks :) Sort of a Free Build mode... then they just put some enemy AIs in there and it's done. I doubt they wanted to add a campaign to the world maps.
