I have just installed the game and I noticed that is getting unusal bad performance.
After starting the game, when in the main menu, it's having one core on maxium load the whole time. This continues also in the game. I have some freezes during gameplay and it runs not very smooth.

I have an i7 3930k, 32GB RAM and a 1070. This should be way enough to play the game...

Anyone else with that issue?

C:/GOG Games/The Settlers II - 10th Anniversary/data/settings/engline.ini
Change from hardwareCursor = 1 to hardwareCursor = 0
The game will use the Windows cursor instead that from the game. It usually causes troubles with the performance on Windows 10.
