basically what the title says.
I just completed mission VII and want to start VIII from the main menu. However, when I click on "play mission", after the short loading screen (with the rendered landscape) I only get a black screen with my cursor (the in-game hand) and music. From then on out I can do nothing but force the program to close. The previous missions seem to work fine.
I have found only very few accounts of this online and can't work out what might cause this to happen. Any suggestions are welcome <3
(I also tinkered with resolution and render-settings but to no avail)
