It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Windows 11 22H2; Settlers 2 Anniversary; Mutiplayer connection via Wifi on local network; network is private network; firewall allows Settlers 2

When going to Multiplayer - LAN - Create Game - Select Map, when I try to scroll around to choose a map, the game often crashes back to the desktop, no error message or anything.
Also when trying to load a save multiplayer map, whenever the second player tries to join, the second player crashes back to the desktop immediately.

We tried: Uninstalling - reinstalling, tried it with multiple maps and saves - always crashed, tried running as admin and in Windows 8 compatibility mode

Any other suggestions? Is this normal? Is there a fix?

OK, found the problem. Seems like there was a corrupted savegame. I turned off game file synchronization with GOG and deleted all files in Documents/S2.
