It's worth the $10 upgrade because they'll patch it later. But if anybody's looking to buy this brand new, wait for a patch or 2. Right now it's basically unplayable. RTX 3080, 32GB ram, 5800x3D and it runs like absolute dog crap for me.

So be warned, its in pretty bad shape, defiantly wait until they drop the fix for it.

Edit: Dropping "visual effects" down to high seems to help a lot with stuttering. Dynamic Resolution helps more but it muddies the textures enough to notice, and makes everything slightly blurry.

I've had several bugs myself, namely audio desync in cutscenes and the interface breaking whenever the "repair weapon" tutorial pops up, forcing me to restart the game each time.

Additionally, a lack of separate anti-aliasing options is a glaring omission.
Is it worth the paid patch now?
If so, I'll buy it on a minimum 50% off sale.

Surprisingly enough, yes. It is now night and day since the release, and now runs significantly better than the original game. There were crippling technical issues, but they have been ironed out based on my testing today.
