Are you guys running this in some sort of compatibility mode? Or in SCUMM? Or DOSbox?
I can't seem to get it to work in anything. As soon as I start I just get a black screen, and then I get -no- screen and have to click somewhere in the upper-left and press escape a few times until it crashes and vanishes.

Strange, i finished the game today and it was running okay - i had some crashes when i saved the game, but luckily the crashes seem to happen after the game was saved successfully.

What i did is using dgVoodoo what i think is a fantastic tool to get older games running. It solved the problem for me where the save popup was so huge that it made saving the game impossible as well. Maybe you can try that!
