I'm experiencing a several second delay when moving between areas on the map. I walk into the exit, the screen goes dark, the music of the next area start playing, but the screen stays dark for a few seconds

Same thing when entering/exiting a battle

Are you using some of the cosmetic DLCs?
They're known to cause problems.

I am! I've installed the casual clothes DLC.

I've just uninstalled the DLC and restarted the game, but that didn't seem to help

You could also try to lower the graphic settings, it could be that your graphic card can't keep up meaning it still calculates while the rest is ready.

If that's not the case either I guess you can only wait for the upcoming patch, "Better synchronization for the "Now loading" renderer," sound like it might help.

It's a common issue but not everyone is affected by it since seems to be related to a specific hardware type.
This will be officially fixed in the 1.2 patch, but Durante made avaible for testing a custom build that fix a lot, i'm using it right now but I don't know if i'm allowed to post it here, in case you can find it in a thread on the steam tenchnical support board.

Thanks guys. I'll wait for the next patch and see if that helps

Would be strange if it was my system being underspec, since Cold Steel 1 played just fine on it

Edit: The 1.2 patch fixed the problem
