Obviously the most direct influence for this game is Drox Operative, by the guys who made Depths of Peril. Can anyone give a comparison?

Even more obscure: the combat model seems a LOT like Critical Mass by Sean O'Connor, but I'm not seeing any missile jinking. Can anyone give a comparison of this game's combat to that?

I've never heard of Critical Mass, but the developer talks a bit about Drox Operative versus The Last Federation in an old blog post: http://christophermpark.blogspot.com/2013/11/your-role-as-independent-agent-in-last.html
Drox is an Action RPG with some C&C elements thrown in the mix. This game can have lots of action if you want it, but at the very core of it it's a thinking man's game. It's kinda hard to begin to describe what the game is like because there are just so many things to do and so many different ways to win.
Guess I shouldn't have skipped this thread. It makes one my other thread replies sort of look like a copycat now. Its still nice to see others drawing attention to Critical Mass, though. That game is amazing. The Last Federation brought it back to memory, so I went and bought it again. I still have my order number code thing for the complete games pack from years ago. The developers philosophy is (or at least it was. I assume it still is) to resend you the download link if you have that info. I decided to not use it and just buy Critical Mass again to give the guy a bit more support.
