So, I'm trying to play the game without the sound. The problem is that I can't seem to disable it no matter how hard I try.
I can lower the sound to no bars in the game but the music is still playing and there doesn't appear to be an option in the Gog configuration window about disabling it. I'm sure there is a way to run dosbox without sound but I don't know how. Please help me. I'm talking about The Even More Incredible Machine

You could use the MIXER command to mute the master volume, but the syntax is a little tricky.

In the dosboxEVEN1.conf file, you can set nosound=true or set all the soundcard types to none

I tried to edit the .conf file but it never worked. I ended up using the mixer option and that worked like a charm. Thanks for the replies
