I'm playing this game for the first time, as I'm a fan of the Thief series, my first occupation was naturally a thief
It's been about 40 years ingame and I'm playing as my second character, already got a fortune of 1.000.000 and the title of Prince of the Empire and I command all Garrissons, Thieves' Guilds and Robber Baron Keeps in the city. As that's a lot of stuff to micromanage, I delegate most of it to masters. But the problem is, they don't seem to be much intelligent... Or rather, not very good at combat-related professions. Even though I bought them the best carts (The one with three slots) max budget and total control over their business, they NEVER buy weapons and barely train their soldiers at all. So I often see my robbers attacking carts with 2 to 3 stars in combat and mere daggers. Is that supposed to work like that? Do I have to buy weapons manually for every one of them? And why do the weapons disappear when they die of old age? It's not like they marry or have children to inherit their stuff.
Is the masters for more production oriented professions better? Like, do they actually go to the market to sell their products and buy raw materials? Is it only the combat masters that aren't very smart?
