In the game i created a powerful dynasty with the seizure of power in 4 cities on the largest map. Now I want to edit the save game and change the game dynasty to play against this monster. Thus, I want to liven up the life of the middle strata in a despotic environment. What software is the best for editing a file? The format is very problematic. Also, the game community is very small and I did not find any mention of similar problems. Probably because all forums are dead and are no longer supported by the community. I hope there are autistic people who plunged into the game also deeply.

Not autistic, but I am still around, working on the MegaMod (now Reforged). With the latest beta patch 4.3b (which is bad, but hey) the old devs released the official script debugger and the map editor gitse, which we used.

The editor is super buggy and lackluster, but since it is available without NDA (although it's a bit hard to get access to said patch 4.3b on steam) we share it in MegaMod Reforged.
