Hi all,

We've uploaded a new installer for The Cat Lady that will install version 1.4 of the game. Also, please enjoy the extended soundtrack in OGG format in your goodies section :)

Changelog:

Font updates includes original English font
French, German + Spanish subtitles
Minor bug fixes & UI updates
Starts with 100mb RAM limit to reduce lag
Vsync plugin reduces screen tearing

Also, please keep in mind that saves from version 1.2 (setup_the_cat_lady_2.0.0.3.exe GOG installer version) are NOT compatible with version 1.4!

I hope this gem is getting some more sales that way.

Awesome. Was kind of disappointed with the original soundtrack, it was missing quite a bit. The music in this game was great.

I'm currently replaying this game with german subtitles and I mus say that I'm disappointed.
I realise it is not GoG's fault, but the german translations is very sloppy. Punctuation Marks are missing in favour of boxes, some textboxes are NOT translated at all. I've also noticed a few typing errors, like switched letters and at one case the first half of a sentence was missing.
Whoever made this translationm really needed someone to proofread the data or the game or however a gametranslation works.

As I said, I do realise that this is not GoG's fault, but I really needed to get this one off my chest and I don't know where to complain about it. I'm currently at the beginning of chapter 2, so I wonder if there's more to come or if the problems are only during the start of the game.

I just created a new topic, a few minutes before the sticky was created. I would like to note that the Spanish version of the subtitles is in French, not in Spanish.

The mentioned problems are during the whole game. Sometimes the text is obviously too long, so it's cut off at the right edge of the screen.

Additionally, maybe I did not realize it when I played the old version last year, but many dialogue lines are spoken twice in a row. Seems it's another bug in the updated version.
