If you want to know a little what the game is like, below is link to a semi-decent walkthrough. ps: its not my channel.
If anyone found one where all options & endings are explored (with no commentary), please post.

A lot of catlady walkthroughs @ youtube are done by people who just ramble and talk to themselves the whole game, disappointing as it killed the atmosphere.

Ah yes, that wonderful curse which is known as "Let's play".
Yes sweety, I've seen you've opened that door and yes, I can perfectly see that this is a very dark room with nothing of interest.
Oh, nioce, you killed a monster. what you say? No, I totally didn't see how you first cut off the monsters limbs and than gave him a headshot, which painted the entire wall red. And would you kindly stop those incredible bad jokes? No one cares that this character has big tits and you want to f*ck her all night.
Seriously, SHUT UP!

Gosh... I hate Let's Plays. If I WANT to watch a playthrough, then I want to SEE the GAME, not listen to an unfunny, unsympathic, idiotic captain obvious!

Yes, I felt like saying this.
If you happen to be good in german, I found a written Walkthrough:
http://www.gamepad.de/loesungen/files/CatLady-loes-d.pdf
I'm member of the generation to whom walkthrough means written article in gaming magazine or official strategy guide*. I have never understood point of these video playthroughs, because I rather play the game myself than watch someone else playing and spoil the story and puzzles. Which is the reason why I recommend trying The Cat Lady demo instead of watching someone else playing.

EDIT: You can download the demo here http://www.thecatlady.co.uk/

After playing the game I watched several Let's Plays to see how other people feel about the game, what problems they had, what scared them, what touched them or what pushed them forward (I was really interested in people's reaction to Chapter 4 couple).

+1 to this, some of them are just terrible. They then paste the video of their head (wearing headphones) on the corner of the gameplay video to distract some more, why?
Pretty sure I'm buying this game, so I'll google-translate that walkthrough when I'm stuck

I just use them to check what the game is like, quicker/faster than downloading demos :)

Ask for hints here - it's always more fun to solve a puzzle with a hint than with a detailed solution.

To each his own, I guess. Maybe I'm just more allergic to spoilers in adventure games than most people, but personally I make my buying decision based on reviews, trailers and demo. Luckily first two only rarely spoil story or puzzles and demo gives you first hand experience of the game which no video can give. To my great shame I must admit that in rare occasions I have used written walkthroughs, but even if I have been stuck for days I prefer looking something like UHS-hints, which gives you nudge in the right direction without spoiling the entire puzzle. I play adventure games for puzzles and story and I feel extremely agitated when someone reveals me solution to puzzle, because I want to at least try to solve it myself.

First, yes, you do have a good point.
However, I think it's a matter of perspective. For example, what do you think of playthroughs of old games, you've never played?
When I had my SNES, I was still in elementary school, first or second grade, maybe third. It's been so long, I can't remember anymore. Obviously, some gems of that time are games, I've never played before. Ever. As a little child, you obviously don't have the money to buy games on a regular basis. That and some games never made it to Europe.
Of course, now I'm older, have a job and in theory, I could purchase those games used on ebay. Some games are plain expensive and I'd still need to purchase some of the older conmsoles. My SNES broke somewhere between 1997 and 98 because I played so much.
Sure, I could spend the money to purchase those older games, but as I said, some games are rather expensive. Earthbound, a game I'd love to play myself someday. But I'd better save the money for bills and stuff I need. So, I'd rather watch a playthrough of those games.

Yep, it's matter of personal preference. Personally I have no time or interest to watch others playing, because to be honest I have bought more old (and new) PC games which I haven't played before from GOG (mostly from various weekend sales) than I can actually play in the near future and all of my gaming time goes to playing those games. The Cat Lady however is currently at the top of my play next list, because test game did make me very impressed.
