This bug was fixed by a patch that was published in the Steam a year ago. And in GOG is still a broken version of the game, which is unpleasant to play.

Open a ticket with gog support. No amount of complaining in this subforum will get it fixed, in spite of increased activity due to the new games. It's not as though we didn't try, but the thread just gets ignored and buried under the new stuff. Again, open a ticket with gog support. I'm too lazy and apathetic to do so myself.
