I had not played Under a Killing Moon since it's original release. When it came out I can remember poking fun at the acting and tacky mix of CGI and FMV but still being blown away and having great fun. It is truly a testament of how fantastic the game is that those flaws, even in the context of modern gaming, still don't hurt the experience in any way. The story, character and performances are great and often hilarious, the puzzles are logical and satisfying and the interface is unique and fun to use. Only the occasional pixel hunt may hinder the puzzle progression but that is pretty much negated by a built in hint system which can easily be used to identify any overlooked items without accidentally spoiling puzzles overall or harming the story.
Truly a great adventure game and having replayed it I await the impending release of the Pandora Directive with bated breath.
