Okay, I think we've waited long enough.

We've been promised there would still be bug fixes over on their forum (see link below), and I've given the devs about 1 year to see what's going to happen. Nothing did.

So, to recap - we paid full price to not just miss out on a lot of cool new content and improvements, well outside of their multiplayer excuse, which is all it is - I've played many games in multiplayer on here already... but, we also never got any fixes, either. They just up and left.

After the year had passed, and the bullshit around the Epic Store Exclusives was all the hot news, it reminded me of this situation right here. So I decided to bark up their tree again.

There's now talk of being offered "some alternatives".
For some a Steam key will be an alright solution, for others money back and game removed from library.

Of course the best would be if they updated the game here.

It sure does make you suspicious they were hedging their bets first time around.
No doubt enough Steam success meant they could ditch GOG, so promptly did.
And of course anyone loving the game and wanting more from it, might in some, perhaps many cases, buy the game again from Steam. Which means more mulla for the dev.

Just shameful really.

I came here from the TerraTech is leaving topic.

I'd be happy to get my money back and have the game removed from my account.

I'm sure as hell won't spent money again on a game developed by them.
Update to the matter:
With an account on their forum and proof of purchase provided in a personal message to one of their Community Managers,
(plural, should there be any other than just Matt), ...

... they will give out replacement Steam keys for the game. But they seem to refuse to do so over here at GoG as they've taken the money and abandoned the platform entirely. Without even announcing there would be an option to get a "replacement" key. Big quotes there, because replacement implies same value, and many here such as myself might argue having a game over on Steam is inherently not of the same value as having one on GoG.

So, now I have 2 Steam keys, as one came with the humblebundle purchase many years ago. Those aren't of any value to me because I don't have any intent to ever use Steam. But if you do, that's what you have to do, apparently. No other options, I've been told.

If you still have those keys for the steam version, I'd be happy to take one off ya since you have no use for them (ill be playing by myself since I have no friends anyways so it wont matter until steam stops work of course...) since steam seems to be the only way to play...other than sailing the seven seas...and humble bundle no longer sells the drm free copy of it....
Cool, huh? Such developers, really warms your heart.

Don't have the keys anymore, though. Lost in space and time by now...
If you don't need multiplayer anyway, tho... you know. Get it for what it's really worth.

TerraTech is also available for the Switch, with or without all DLCs. Since there is a complete package for the Switch, TerraTech has probably been developed by now.

Translated with Google.
