Since there is now a portal gun based off of Valve's game "Portal" I was wondering if said item is included in the version here.

Hehe, I doubt they went to the trouble to take it out just to appease Valve. I checked the wiki and you need to destroy an end game boss so it will likely take a while before someone with a GOG version finds it.

well, for super time force ultra there are valve characters exclusive to the steam version (I heard there will be different characters for the playstation version) so I hope this wasn't a similar situation.

Re-logic isn't much for taking stuff out save for developer items(well they are still in the code but you will die if you equip them) like Red's Armor and Wings, Cenix's armor and Wings, ect., the zapper item which was a NES Zapper and the collector's edition pet, they usually will just change the sprite up and change the name.

But given how they still have the hero and plumbers items(vanity items that make you look like Link or Mario) still in despite Red's previous history of getting a cease and desist order from Nintendo over Super Mario X, I doubt they are going to remove the portal gun

@DCT: V1.3 Changelog says that developer items are usable for any player now, but Reds Wings lost their unlimited flying ability due to that.

the portal gun is dropped by the end boss, also the dev vanity sets have been included as hardmode expert boss drops which can be worn

Thanks for the info and offer. I think I will get it myself though, I just wanted to make sure Re-logic didn't have any super secret special deal w/ Valve here.

Helped some friends defeat the Moon Lord several times. We all got one and two extra ones.
I don't know what FaZe ir or means. If you want one feel free to add me, I also have an extra Unicorn mount and mechanical cart.

Still, you must have played a great deal before. Did you have a save from let's say 1.2 or did you actually start from scratch?

Ah yes, to acquire the new items we played with our old characters where we had already played the game with strong gear. Even so it was very challenging, it is very difficult. I'm still starting a whole new game with fresh world and characters to experience it (the granite biome is a nice new challenge). :D
