My question would be how much time is still development? When will it really be finish? For version 1.3 it was almost 2 years before 1.4 came.
Well, 1.4 is not called "Journey's End" without a reason.

It is supposed to be the last content update, for real this time ;)

But i think, especially with embedded mod support now available, that the future of Terraria is still bright. Hopefully we also get the full integration with the GoG version.

Who would have thought, back when Terraria was originally released, that the game that was dismissed as "2D Minecraft" would become such an amazing and long supported game?

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate it. My question was more about how long it will be patched. To be free of bugs...etc.
Meh, who knows.

I have not played 1.4 yet, but from what i have seen on Steam, there already have been two additional patches. Those are not yet here i think, explaining the multiplayer issues.
But rolling out a patch on saturday evening tells me enough already, that the game is not abandoned. That the updates are not here yet is likely more of an issue on GoGs side.

From what i have experienced from the devs over the years, i do not think that major bugs will not be fixed, if there are even many. Even during the first supposed end of development, after 1.1 i think, i have not encountered any major bug.

1.4.0.2 is available through GOG Galaxy, you may have to Veryfy your files to force it to update.
