I am playing the linux version and the first run through was fine. When my character died, I started another and whenever I'm done building the character and the game starts, the black screen that says "Building dungeon level 1" stays up and does not go away. I can walk around and interact with people, bring up the pause menu, and do just about anything, but I can only tell because of audio cues. I waited until a new version was out and updated, I tried closing the game several times, but am unable to start a character now. Any help?

Yes, thank you! That fixed it. I'll keep an eye out for bugfixes and keep playing in windowed mode until then.
