Hi,
Is there any way to configure the MIDI output used by SS1 EE on Windows 10? I have many MIDI outputs, which I also need for other things than gaming, so suggestions such as installing Virtual MIDI synth do not help – I need a specific, existing MIDI output to be used.
Possibilities that come to mind:
1) Is there a "MIDI mapper" for Windows 10, which installs itself as the first MIDI output and allows forwarding to another port?
or
2) Can I edit some configuration file (or hex edit the executable) to hard-code a specific MIDI output number rather than (apparently) just using the first?
or
3) Can the team responsible for the Enhance Edition please make the MIDI configurable? In DOSBox it's simply entering one number into a configuration file; this approach would be perfectly sufficient.
