Everytime i attempt to launch swat 3 first nothing happens then i get a white screen that isnt responding. Ive tried uninstalling and using the verify and repair tool and nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?
Now i have a new problem. I tried wind3d and now i dont even get the white screen. The game crashes instantly. Any fixes?

That sounds rather unique but it still could possibly be related to the codec movie problem.

Swat 3's movies were encoded with an old codec that Windows no longer supports.

As a test you could add the text "-nointro" to the shortcut for Swat 3. Right click on the desktop icon and choose properties. Look for the line that says TARGET. The contents should look something like this:

"C:\Games\SWAT 3\game\swat.exe"

Change that to:

"C:\Games\SWAT 3\game\swat.exe -nointro"

Please note that the quotes need to stay at beginning and end of the line. Make sure there is a space between swat.exe and -nointro

Check to see if this allows you to load the game and get to the menu.
