Hello everyone,

I installed SWAT 3 with its last resort mod, the game starts well but lagged, I installed DGvoodoo 2 as indicated in the tutorials.

However on a PC I encounter the error "sorry, this program recquires 16 bit color mod".

I have set the 16 bit compatibility on the swat applications and the W7 compatibility on the last resort.

I can not solve the problem especially since I managed to install it on a second identical PC.
I even reformatted and reinstalled windows 10x64 but nothing helps!

Je n'arrive pas à résoudre le problème d'autant que j'ai réussi à l'installer sur un second PC identique.

It sounds like you are trying to add too many new elements at once.

1) Get Swat 3 to work properly all by itself. If you can get the game running by itself then you can move onto the next step. The frame rate might be terrible but you need to confirm the game will run without crashing.

2) Add dgVoodoo once Swat 3 is working properly. Do you still get an error?

3) If step 1 and 2 are working great with Swat 3 then add the Last Resort mod.

thank you for your answer, I uninstalled the whole, cleaned it up with ccleaner in the registry and reinstalled only swat 3, without any mod and without DGVoodoo2, it started well but as soon as I reset DGvoodoo2 the error 16 bits comes back.

I performed a CHKDSK / F / R and an SFC / scannow just in case.

What is strange is that on my other identical PC no problem.

Just to be clear, you get the error with Swat 3 + dgVoodoo2?
