We could really use some surveying/ planning/ marking tools.

Just some little dots or flags, in several colors, and maybe the capability to draw a cable-like limit line or vector.

I have used unactivated small solar panels, sensor towers, and stirling gens as these sorts of shape/ distance/ limit markers, but it is a pain to have to remember to turn each one off as you lay it down to avoid unwanted builds.

Also, it would be nice if the survey/ planning lines and markers could be toggled between:
-durable - you must remove them before placing the building or item planned for that spot (similar to using the current one space items as markers), or
-insubstantial - any permanent structure placed over the marked location will remove/ erase/ overwrite the survey marks underneath it.
