It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Just delete config file from "C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games" folder

Whereaminow25: Not sure if this helps, but Since I don't use gog galaxy, I use the offline version, for it to install and play right, I have to unblock the exe, and all parts of the game, right click properties, unblock, apply.
It's not blocked for me to begin with.

Kernel32.dll: Just delete config file from "C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games" folder
%UserProfile%\AppData\Local doesn't have a "Gas Powered Games" folder.

I have the same problem. The Steam version loads fine but the GoG version won't load.
As already suggested above - remove game folder from ./AppData/... Looks like versions conflict in config file. Steam version is separate version, a bit differ.
Have the same issue, deleting the Gas Powered Games folder under App Data didn't solve it, also updated the drivers for the graphics card, reinstalled the game and restarted PC all not working. Does anyone have the same issue or an idea for a solution?

There's a few rare cases where the registry entries aren't deleted during un-install of a game. Not sure if this game is one of them. If you un-install it and are comfortable looking at the registry, it's worth a try.

I've done it for a few games. I think one was Pillars of Eternity, it didn't delete it's registry entry and a re-install had the same issue. It took a lot of Googling for the idea to check there itself lol.

Also, there may be some PC cleaning software that removes left over registry entries. Norton Utilities (that I use) does that for me or at least the old version did. Not sure if the new version does, since I use the old version for my offline Windows 7 gaming SSD.
.
There is two differ cases describes in this thread (second one incorrectly named "same issue"). But they have same solutions.

Disable Windows DEP by bcedit nx off (exact steps in google). Add X/Games/ to AV exception. Uninstall everything and clean. Install again strickly to only X/Games/ folder like D/Games/GOG-Galaxy and games to X/Games/Game-name-2/.

Dll issue are "OS security update" issue. Silently close app soon after launch - another "security" thing, never properly working DEP since XP but only thing ⅚Ms decide do keep.

SupCom possible use two AppData folders. It is natively Steam game and they often use two folders one for Steam. Same goes for some offline GOGs versions - they use GOG-Galaxy folder make it account0 subfolder to be.

If you use GOG-Galaxy vlient and game build - it is definitely have second one AppData folder.
