I need the CD to install directX 8 is there anyway to get around this due to there not being any CD?

Later reply, but I think you can download it from Microsoft site. I know some people have posted links in the past on other game forum topics.

I'll see if I can find one of those links. A lot of games around that time of release also install DX8 during regular installation of a game. So if you have one of those games, It may give you what you need by installing one. Anyway, I'll try to msg back asap.
