I have problem with Stronghold Crusader HD. Since some time, I was able to play the game with my friend with no problem (we played via Gameranger). One day we decided to play again, apparently he got his game updated (he's got it on Steam, while I have GOG version). Now he's having version 1.41, and I have version 1.4. Because of this I get error that my version is too old to play with him, and we are unable to start the game. Is there an update incoming for GOG version as well?

Have you contacted Support? Do you know how old is the update?

Maybe the solution is as simple as someone contacting the developer. Or maybe they already have the update at GOG, but it is delayed in curation until someone in the team properly checks it. Can't hurt to ask.

GOG versions of neither Stronghold HD nor Crusader/Extreme HD got any updates.

The official FireFly websites hosting patches for retail versions at http://www.strongholdhd.com/patch.html and http://www.strongholdcrusaderhd.com/patch.html don't have any changes (checked with MD5).

Stronghold HD, Crusader HD and Crusader Extreme HD got some strange updates this month on Steam, however:

FireFly has been pretty Steam-centric in the past few years, so it wouldn't be surprising.

Seems like they got updated today but no Changelog. Anyone know what this update did?

Patch 1.41 was seemingly applied to both.

A UK English installer has also been made available.

Will install tomorrow to check fully.

EDIT 2: Neither patch appears to show a changelog with a file, but then again, neither did 1.4.
