CrasherTheLion: So, I bought this game on the Summer Sale, and it works perfectly, except for one complaint. I can't seem to enable shadows for some reason, as it defaults to off and the option is grayed out. Are the devs still working on it, or am I behind on patches?

Hi all - to address the shadows questions: after a large amount of development time and investigation, we've come to the unfortunate decision that we won't be able to release the shadows patch. Due to the large scales of our levels we could not create shadow maps with a high enough resolution to look good. Performance concerns also worried us, and after trying unsuccessfully for a number of weeks to tweak the shadow code to look good, we were unsuccessful. To make matters worse, the programmer responsible for this has actually now left Born Ready Games, and moved onto pastures new. It's an unfortunate situation, and we're sorry to have built your hopes up, but at this stage there's now very little we can do.
Putting the option in the game before we’d tested this was obviously an error on our behalf, especially as we hadn't managed to put shadows in the original game. For this we can only apologize.
That said, the Revenant Strike Suit will be launching in a couple of weeks, and this will go out to anybody that owns the Director's Cut FOR FREE.
