Is it just me, but on an SSD, it takes 30+ seconds to load to the main menu, that seems kind of excessive, is there any workaround?

Yeah, I've had similar where the menu dosen't even load, taking up to a minute before I had to Ctrl Alt Del out to desktop.

was just about to post this, the loading times are ridiculous and my comp ain't no potato (2x256 pcie ssd raid0). would be cool if a workaround existed.

Yea, the loading times are obscene. I have a feeling they just set a timer for 30 seconds, and when it expires they let you start the level. The game uses extremely low poly assets. There's no reason a whole level shouldn't load in half a second.

Yes, the long loading times become annoying really quick.

I only have this on the initial load, once the game has actually launched loading new areas and reloading from your save or a checkpoint is accomplished reasonably fast.
