I can't play the game right now, because of this:

It starts, I see some loading screen (with dots at the bottom) and then the game minimizes to the taskbar. It still runs and I can swith to it wit ALT+TAB, the see for some split second something like a tutorial, then back to the taskbar.

It is the same with or without controller (XBOX 360) plugged in. I also tried to run it as administrator, that didn't help though. No other programs running.

(Win 7 64 bit, Nvidia GTX770, Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9300@2.50 GHz, 8 GB RAM)

Do you have any ideas what I could try now to fix this?

It runs now, but why I am still curiuos... Read about a similar problem on the STEAM forums and then did some tests.

What I did was this:

First install it on drive C:\ (was on a different drive before) - nothing.
Second set it to run as administrator (for all users) - nothing.
Third also set compatibility mode to "Windows 7" (even if I have Win 7) and now it runs.

So I wonder if that together really helped, or if am am just lucky now...
