Im having a problem where the game is super sped up like mouths, movements etc. I cant even type the morgue password how the game is fast. Any help is appreciated.

I just had the same problem and tried the fix I found with another microids game yesterday (Syberia 2): This solution to the high speed and dialogue skipping, download, unzip and install d3d8.dll and d3d8.ini to the game folder:

Go to: github.com/ThirteenAG/d3d8-wrapper/releases

Download it, put into the game folder and set 60 fps limit in the .ini file:

[MAIN]
FPSLimit = 60

This definitely needs to be included in the game distribution.
