I've just signed up to GoG and bought this game. Instalation went fine and booting the game up goes fine.

But once it gets past the 2 into movies that kick in the moment you start it up. The sound vanishes.

Has anyone else had this or know what's causing it?


-EDIT- Never mind. I managed to find a fix elsewhere on the interweb. Had to tweak a few lines in the ini file.

Can't remember the link I found or how I found it now. ( Was looking all over the place. ) lol

But going off my backed up .ini file and if I remember rightly...


Go to the Startopia install folder and open the startopia.ini file. ( After backing it up just in case. )

Find the following lines and change them to this...

[Sound]
DrivePathMusic=".\data\"
DrivePathSound=".\data\"
SoundPathVoice=".\data\"


If all goes well, then it should now work. ( Providing I remembered it correctly.
