EDIT: SOLVED!! see below

Hi, guys, I've just bought Startopia from GOG and the game works beautifully but there's no sound :(.

I've already tried the fix posted in this post gog.com/forum/startopia/not_getting_any_sound_in_game
But it doesn't work.

I've disabled all of my other audio devices except one and updated the drivers but still nothing.

Just to clarify, sound works everywhere else and the intro sound works but nothing after that.

Please help D:

EDIT: I've managed to fix it some how. I reinstalled Startopia and applied the 1.01b patch BEFORE I applied the 1.02 widescreen patch and ran the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode :D
