Before I head over to steams summer sale, I thought I would share my thoughts with you on how to improve your game.
Im almost through with my 3rd playthrough plus several custom starts, so I feel this gives me some insight as to how to improve your game. 1. Space Hockey, I cant even begin to tell you how many times I have been knocked around even right before I would land one of my escorts would hit me so hard I would have to reorient myself to land, multiple times I would receive a slapshot going from point a to b.
2. Fleet Management, Having to constantly assign tasks to my fleet gets really old really fast, I know theres a mod on steam workshop for this, but I dont like using 3rd party mods, they have a tendency to mess things up, I spesk from much experience on this matter, since I bought the very first pc, even before windows, I been around awhile. I would like to see a system implemented where you could choose how long the fleets take to gather resources, for example 2x-2 times the resources, all the way to 5x.
3. Information. the on scrren display that tells you your next mission and how many resorces your fleet gathered etc. theses boxes are waaaaay to big and take up to much of the screen, a toggle to turn off this display would be great, I know f11 turns it all off but all I want is the information boxes tured off. such a beautiful game , I would like to see more of it.
4. Warning, A verbal warning or something flashing on the screen to tell you one of your stations is under attack, something that would get your attention. I hope this helps you and I am looking forward to further updates and dlc. I assure you I will support You Just because you listen weather you do or do not implement any of my suggestions you still have my suppot . By the way GREAT GAME.
Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience - (and surely frustration from some of those) while playing and noting what you felt should be changed. I'll adress the points in the followup

1. This has been requested a lot - The ai, and its immersion breaking behavior is being worked on over time.
Overall tweaks in the future will most likely fix a lot of the problems, either way - we are aware of the issue.

2. This, also, was requested a lot. The civillian tasks have proven to be more of a tool for starting out for most players.
By end game, it mostly only pays off to instruct your fleets to repair allied T-gates, as they give you a large boost to credits.
Some sort of partial automation was planned for this, as well as a change to "time vs value" of tasks. I believe that has not changed.

3. It's on the wishlist, allowing players to costumize the HUD/UI would be a nice addition in our book.

4. I believe something like this is actually being worked on and might be live within the next few updates, not entirely sure, so I'll pass on the request.
