Hi,

I know that the game doesn't allow saving in the middle of a mission, but I can't even access the menu to modify settings or to quit the game when I'm in a mission, the only way is either finishing the mission or Alt+F4. Is this intended or a bug?

It sounds like your ESC key isn't working? If so, simply reset your preferences from the title screen Options menu. Should do the trick.
