the quest "explore xeno" is stuck, so i can't hire new crew members. seems to be a common problem with the gog release, see: https://steamcommunity.com/app/863590/discussions/0/3111394035956721427/

same here.
You can use save game editing as a workaround, simply search for "crew" in the json save file.
