Does anybody know how many bonus points are necessary to get Diamond Eyes?
At the moment I just obtained Silver Talons at little more than 10.000
I just got the golden wings at 18.000 bonus points, I'm just a few missions from the end so I hope it doesn't take too many points for Diamond Eyes.
I got the Diamond Eyes at 21835 bonus points, I had to destroy two Carrack cruisers, two Victory Class Destroyers and one Star Destroyer to be sure, a bit weird I found no estimate of the bonus points necessary for this medal anywhere on the internet or in the readme file.

Just another question: does the xwaupgrade patch mess up the difficulty?
Because I remember this mission being much more difficult, though to be fair I played it more than ten years ago last time and on easy. I've been reading that some missions on the lowest difficulty level are bugged (two of them were missions I skipped at the time), perhaps it was easier because this time I played every mission on medium?

Xwaupgrade will change difficulty a bit, but not where you expect it.

The place where it change, is actually the 2 missions where you are in tight space, as the X-Wing and the YT-1300 are a bit bigger

There is also the B-wing bug in the missions where it's not the default craft (when you select lasers it fires torpedoes instead).

I asked mostly because in the "protect the home one" mission I essentially ignored the Tie Bombers and everything turned out fine anyway, even with the Home One I only defended myself against fighters while destroying the engines of the imperial cruisers behind it and the Home One shields never dropped below 80%.

EDIT

Goddamn it's impossible to avoid collisions with that thing installed.
